Rich Passage Beach Observations

Passenger Only Fast Ferry Study: The research project team will be conducting surveys of beach morphology along the shorelines of Rich Passage to document the current conditions and augment the database used to analyze seasonal and annual beach change. The work will be similar to work conducted in the past and will include surveys of beach profiles, visual observation/photographic documentation of beach conditions, and monitoring of baseline sound levels at the shoreline.

Work will also include a survey and assessment of shoreline structures. Surveys will be conducted the week of March 12, March 26, and April 2. No monitoring devices will be installed for this phase of beach monitoring. www.pugetsoundfastferry.com
