County Planning Commission Contemplating Expanding Shoreline “Natural” Designation.

The Sierra Club, Futurewise and People for Puget Sound have submitted a letter to the planning commission listing dozens of additional shoreline segments to be considered for the “natural” designation. This will greatly expand the number of properties with the Maximum buffer of 200 feet.

The planning commission asked Greetham to take a closer look at environmental conditions of those shoreline segments listed by Futurewise, with further discussions planned for a later meeting.
